We know how the little things mean a lot and can really make your day. That’s why we recognize our own with our Woman of the Month Award.
Join one of SWAT Networking’s Committees and let your inner talents shine! We know you’re busy and appreciate any time you can give to helping make SWAT the great group it is. That’s why we don’t ask a lot of our volunteers. We ask for smaller, more realistic, time commitments and this also gives opportunities for more members to become involved. Help SWAT Networking be the organization YOU want by volunteering! Committee members will be listed on the team page, with a link to their businesses.
SWAT Committees
Welcome Committee
Personally reach out to new members to welcome them to SWAT Networking and answer any questions they may have. Plan to meet with them at their first in-person meeting so that they have a SWAT Sister to look for and to make introductions with other members.

SWAT "Big Sister"
Check in with members who haven’t been around for a while and see if they are okay or need anything. Sometimes work takes over, but sometimes, things happen and we could all use someone to just reach out and check in with us at times.

Woman of the Month Committee
Help us with our Woman of the Month nominees. Each month we award one member that has been voted on the Woman of the Month Award. This award recognizes her for her contribution to SWAT Networking and to helping out fellow members.

Membership Committee
Share your enthusiasm for SWAT Networking by identifying and inviting others to participate and join! You’ll show your SWAT Spirit when introducing all that SWAT can offer to women in their careers. You’ll help plan member recruiting events and work in conjunction with chapter directors and the Welcome committee.

Holiday Party Committee
Our Annual Holiday Party has become a very anticipated event. Help us plan and host the Holiday Party in early December. It truly is a bright spot in the crazy holiday season!
2-3 hours total
SWAT Ambassador
Welcome guests to meetings and take them around and introduce them to members. Show them the warmth and friendliness that defines our group. After the meetings, follow up with guests to see if they have questions about membership.

Social Media Committee
If you like being on social media, this is for you. Help SWAT reach a wider audience by assisting with our social media channels. From fun and engaging posts in our private Facebook group, to new member postings and posting events and new member welcomes publicly on social media.

Education Committee
Assist with selecting educational topics and retaining speakers for our SWAT meetings. These are informative and educational talks for our members to help them in their professional and personal lives.

Social Activities Committee
Like to have fun? Then you’ll enjoy helping to plan fun and exciting SWAT Socials both virtually and in-person for our members to relax, connect and enjoy each other’s company. After all, we can’t be all work and no play!

Spring Fling Committee
This is our Annual Celebration where we recognize other members for accomplishments throughout the year and award our Brag Dollars from the year before. On this committee, you’ll assist in the planning and running of the celebration to make this THE dynamite event of the year for all SWAT sisters!
